An FDA-cleared, blood-based path to earlier insight into Alzheimer's-related brain changes. The DOXA Health Alzheimer's Disease Assessment Panel uses the Lumipulse® G pTau217/β-Amyloid 1-42 Plasma Ratio Test — the first FDA-cleared blood test for aiding in the evaluation of Alzheimer's disease — to assess the likelihood of amyloid plaque pathology in the brain.
The test measures two key biomarkers linked to neurodegeneration: phosphorylated tau-217 (pTau217), associated with neuronal injury, and β-Amyloid 1-42 (Aβ1-42), linked to amyloid plaque formation. The ratio between them is placed into one of three FDA-cleared interpretation ranges — Negative, Intermediate, or Positive — to help guide clinical decision-making.
